The FINAL COUNTDOWN is on PIRATES for our 2nd Annual OHIO PIRATE CON Event and things could not be shaping up any better!
· NEW: This year’s event is being held this year inside the SANDUSKY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS in Fremont, OH featuring more sit-down areas, shade, nice restrooms, showers, air-conditioned buildings including covered merchant areas, stages for entertainment, a kid’s zone and MORE!
· FRIDAY NIGHT LAUNCH PARTY featuring the band ROCKHOUSE from Columbus. Who will be performing as Pirates as they ROCK out with all your favorite Rock n Roll high energy dance and sing along anthems! ROCKHOUSE is known all over Ohio, Put-in-Bay and Key West in the winter. They will be playing in the Port Royal Arena (Anderson Arena) 7-10pm. Tickets are now available online… $5 pp General Admission and we also offer a very exciting VIP EXPERIENCE Ticket for $20 pp that includes special table section seating right by the dance floor, Pirate Nibbles, Booty Bag with fun swanky swag and MORE!
· NEW: Educational Seminars featuring National and Local Celebrities, Authors, Artists, and More! These seminars will be held at the Nauti Navigator Academy (Junior Fair Office) and best news of all… it is Air Conditioned… most events are FREE…
· “NEW” THE WHISKEY WITCHES will be with us as well all weekend. Hosting 2 educational and exciting spirited Flight events… a RUM on Fri and a WHISKEY & BOURBON on Sat as well as highlighting their musical talents a couple times throughout the weekend as well on one of our stages!
· “NEW” A PIRATE GOT TALENT CONTEST is being hosted by none other than “CAPTAIN JACK” from Kissimmee, Florida who impressed us last year. Captain Jack along with his Purple Pirate are excited to be a bigger part of our event this year! We are looking for talented acts of all kinds… including singers, musicians, dancers, jugglers, and MORE. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and Peoples Choice. Sign up TODAY!
“NEW” Sea Monkey “KidZone” where adventure and creativity meet for the kids and families. Featuring the talented and interactive musical duo known as TOADSTOOL SHADOWS keeping things exciting on Saturday and Sunday! Inflatable games and more in store!
We even have a WEDDING OFFICIENT who will be with us on Saturday, July 25 and she is looking for couples interested in saying their “AYE-Do’s” renewing their vows, getting married or perhaps a commitment ceremony, etc… if you are interested… msg us and

· A SATURDAY MORNING “Grand Pirate Parade through downtown Fremont is being organized that will take place right before our event opens at the Fairgrounds. FREE to watch and/or enter your pirate float, car, truck, bike and more… Bring your booty bags as entries will be passing out TREASURES of all kinds… Details can be found under the Pirate Parade Tab on this site.
· A CAPTAIN’S FEAST for Saturday Night is back by POPULAR DEMAND… this year it will be held at the Misty Meadows Banquet Hall and will feature your choice of RIBS or CHICKEN with all the pirate fixins’… BYOB too at this location… plus… Capt. Jack and the Purple Pirate will be entertaining you that night… Tickets will SELL OUT… get yers today… $40.00 pp. online plus fees.
· MMH PRODUCTIONS will be filming scenes for an upcoming PIRATE Movie or Video concept at this years OHIO PIRATE CON – They will have several sets created inside the Jolly Whitebeard Pub. Matthew will also be doing some educational talks about how he got started with movie making, his challenges, accomplishments, recognitions and more!
· CAMPSITES have been reserved adjacent to the Fairgrounds the week before, during the event and after for those wanting to experience and enjoy all this northwest Ohio community has to offer. Book your day/s and site under the TICKET PAGE today… Cost is ONLY $40.00 per night per site and that includes 2-FREE tickets to the EVENT as well…!
We are still finalizing many of our entertainment and activities… honestly… just plan on joining us and be surprised with everything there is to SEE and DO… something for the entire FAMILY to experience!
